Our half day Margaret River tours are the ideal snapshot of the region for those of you who don’t have much time, but still want to experience the area. Also, unlike most wine tours, we focus on the most delectable local foods that are on offer in the region as well - because who doesn’t want some cheese with their wine?
Are you craving the ultimate escape down south, but don’t want to break the bank? Perhaps a girl’s or couples’ trip, where you can indulge on wine, cheese and chocolate - with someone else as the designated driver? Harvest Tours is here to help! We offer an affordable Half Day Wine & Food Tour, which gives you the opportunity to taste local produce and premium wines from all around the Margaret River region.
Our first stop is Brown Hill Estate - a family owned and operated vineyard, with a passionate team that utilises traditional wine-making methods such as hand picking and sorting the fruit. They specialise in using small, intensely flavoured grapes, which create deeper, richer wines.
The second winery on our journey is McHenry Hohnen vineyard - a forward-thinking, sustainable business that focuses on biodynamic farming and minimal intervention wine-making. The team behind the process are advocates for this natural approach, and believe their grapes are even more high-quality because of it. As their vineyard manager Mike says ‘a better environment gives you better wine.’
Woody Nook Wines is the third vineyard on our trip, and also the spot where we will be stopping for lunch. They are a genuine boutique winery, with a rich history dating back to 1982 when they planted the first vines. The cellar door is idyllically located, with peaceful jarrah and karri forest as a backdrop - the perfect place to sip wines and enjoy the serenity. During our visit, we will taste a variety of their wines, including their signature crisp, fruity whites and rich, structured reds.
Your day begins with pick up at the Margaret River Visitors Centre at 11:45am. Make sure you are all ready to go at this time, because you won’t want to lose a second of this day!

For lunch, we will be at the stunning Woody Nook Wines, where you will enjoy some wine tastings first, and then have the opportunity to sit back with a full glass of wine and a generously sized sharing plate.
The last vineyard of the day is Fermoy Estate, a renowned, sustainable winery which offers a range of award-winning wines for you to try during the visit.
